Bird Park & Orchid Garden

Once again, we were going to our last but not least trip to bird park in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. The journey from Cyberjaya to KL Bird Park is about 45 to an hour if in traffic jam, its quite far.

Bird Park
First of all before Ive start to talk about Focus & Emotion, Space/Form & Orientation and Knowledge & Task, I would like to share something about the Bird Park. With the tag line of 'World's LARGEST free-flight walk-in-aviary' it attract tourist all around the globe. The free-flight-walk concept means visitors can experience of get close even we can feed them with their food not human food. 15 ringgit ticket each person really worth it to experience bird flying freely around us, but of the dean's kindness, its free. Thanks dean.:)



Focus & Emotion

When I was first step in the Bird Park, I was greet all fascinated and colorful parrot. When i see for a glance i thought the bird that hang on top the tree its a toy, but it really alive. Thats was really magnificent. Then the thing that the Bird Park is construct with semi natural landscape that really gives out that you are in the middle of jungle. Apart from that, different species of bird is place on the different section, that make visitor easier to differentiate different species in different habitat. For example, the flamingo is in the made man lake side.The best experience is that I think that only me and my friend had experience is, I have the opportunity to watch the bird show. It was really enjoyable performance by the trained bird that guided by the trainers. I really proud when i watched the bird really can understand what human ask to do. I still can remember that the trainers told that if u to train your parrot to speak, you have to talk like a child speaking, then you can have the speaking parrot..:)

Space/Form & Orientation

What can I say is Bird Park is very huge park. If you lost I think is hard to get the way back, but with all signage and friendly crew roaming around that park, they can really help you out. The park really full with peacock that really free around the park, till visitor can touch and even feed them, but unfortunately they not really friendly and run away when we want to get close to it.

Knowledge & Task

Once you purchase the bird park ticket, you will get a brochure each. To me the brochure is full with good information. For the center part of the brochure have a map that will guide you to many different of the Bird Park. It very useful. Not only that, the brochure also content of what they offer for the visitor and what they will get from the Bird Park. Unfortunately they did not provide the the specific information of the bird one by one. To me if they input all the information together into one brochure which is very good, but I think not everyone will read about it. At least, put some information that people didnt know about certain information. Overall basically, the brochure really works plus it make the experience more meaningful.

Petrosains & Aquaria

On 14th of July, our second trip for Experiental Studies is Petrosains & Aquaria. To me, I have been to Petrosains for several time, compared to Aquaria just once( the trip bring me there):D. Basically, Petrosains, from my what Ive understand is the place where people can know something about science.

So firstly i want share what I experience once I entered Petrosains. Even though I have been many times there, I didn't feel queasy at all, plus when I come again later , many things are change in terms of design more specifically the interior design. Not only that, the service, in terms of their workers really make the visitors feel easy to come there. Besides that, to me even though I didn't pay for Petrosains ticket, more specifically we only have to pay the aquaria ticket, the ticket for the Petrosains is quite reasonable. Unfortunately there have some weaknesses, there some exhibition machine that they are provide to show the exhibition clearly is not functioning. But overall I can say that two hours is not enough to see and experience what is inside the Petrosains, because its interesting place to go not only for children but all levels of age.


After I went to Petrosains I went to aquaria. Aquaria is the place where people can see and feel that we are in the water world. Frankly I can say that I cant really experience that I in the water world, maybe I have spent alot of time in the Petrosains..:P. Overall, what can i say is, Aquaria is not an ordinary aquarium exhibition. I have been to many underwater world exhibition but this place, we can experience more deeply about life in the sea. Apart from that, I can say that to entered aquaria is quite expensive, maybe due to the high maintenance. To me, this is another interesting place to see live the shark in front of us. Plus, we can see clearly tiny creature that live underwater.

Week 4: Disney

What a very nice lecture by Mr. Harold. The topic is about Disneyland. I really enjoyed with the lecture and video that shown in class. I have learn a lot from there. How Disneyland is built, how thing design, and the best part is now I know who is the creator of the extraordinary amusement park. Walt Disney which I can say is a very creative think person come out with such a crazy idea. Not only a animator but he create the huge park based on the environment that he create his animation. People can experience the situation but in reality way.

Apart from that, what I'm really respect of his idea is, he is not create an ordinary amusement park that only have a ordinary roller coster or even have only simple structure that can called as amusement park, but he really create all the structure in details. For example, from what i have learn in the class is, people can experience what is giving out from the park. The building design are build really detail, so that people can feels the environment. Apart from that, people that come to Disneyland are treat not as visitor or even customer but a guess, what an interesting term, that really change the people minds in term of how their treat their customer.

Experience Mall

On 26th June, I have been to Berjaya Times Square Mall in KL, for the 1st Experiental Studies trip. There have many interesting experience that i wanted to share with. Frankly, to me I didnt really like the environment of this particular area of this mall that is the Cosmic Theme Park on the 7th floor. To me, the theme park made the mall seems very crowded especially in public or school break time.Apart from that,its not really worth it compared to the price of the ticket.

Unfortunately not all part of the shopping mall that i dont like it.The favorite part of the shopping mall is of course, shopping lots. The have variety of shop lots that sold many things for our daily usage. The shopping mall not only provided shop lots but also have small kiosk. To me, if I searching for A shirt I willing to round and see every single shop lots because the have many different in term of design quality and of course the price.Not only that i simply like the design of the mall building. To me, the design is like the combination of contemporary and classic way of design.

I Max Theater

I Max KL..Here I come!!!!

Wow!, what an excited trip!. Next week me and all my classmate of experiental studies are going to Times Square, KL, more specifically is I Max Theater. I cant wait to experience watching movies as i never been there before. From what I know I Max is created by the Canadian I Max Corporation.

I hope next week, i can learn and experience what is I Max is about from my sight. Cant wait to watch movie there..:)

Photography..:D

I simply adore and love photography. Apart from chatting, face-booking, myspacing, and searching for information for my assignment i really like to see peoples photos. One of my friends in the internet and also idol not only me but also most photographer in Malaysia i think, he is known as Chottouch. He inspired me a lot about photography.

Why I say so, because every picture that he took is very different from other photographer. The color of the picture is so smooth and very eye catching. This is the one of the picture that in term of color that very smooth

Besides that, not only the color that he used but the different angle to taking the picture, also attract me strongly to see all his picture. This is another picture that from many different angle to take a picture.

To me, photography is not only to keep the memory but also for inspiration for future references.

i hope, when VR have a trip, i could take picture that can gives out identity and meaningful.

The DeAN

kRiNG kRiNG!!!
My first class of experiental studies. As usual, i always late for the class ( first class.:)). When, i step in the class, i was surprised because Dean is taking the class. ' Oh no!! i was late for the first class'. Luckily i came with my bunch of friends and with the good mood of Dean i get escaped from get scolded.

The class was briefed by the Dean himself as he introduced what is experiental studies is all about. As the class end, i knew that Dean will take the class for the whole trimester!. What a great news right...The DeAN is teaching us! and not to forget is another lecturer that teach us is Madam Sri Kusuma (Wonder Women) ..what a awesome class..i hope i can be in the deans list. Can i??..:D
